Snake Tragedies!!

I've decided to blog bout this after watching a disgusting video of how they cooked snakes and how it got to be fresh.. It's on facebook and I couldn't link it at this moment.. Maybe I should scoop around in youtube and try to find it. But I'm just too lazy, and internet is running slowly.. Argh maxed out my quota..

First of all, let me clarify this, I am NOT a fan of snakes even when I'm born in the year of it..

I HATES them alot, they creep me out couple times,

FIRST TIME was when I went back home from school one day, and I saw this green snake (which I thought it was fake) on my staircase handrail, and first thing crossed my mind was, I thought my mom was playing a prank on me, and I've decided to scare her back with the so called rubber snake, BUT right before I wanna pick it up, F*ck it starts moving and the next thing I did was screaming for my mom, she ran to the scene with a mop but then she also freaked out, and both just run to Dad!!! I'm glad Dad was there.. He sort of killed the snake, but then I have a feeling he's not dead, and indeed it was not dead, I think the snake just "pengsan". But my bro just killed it..

The second was scary, as I was wash my dishes in the kitchen, somehow I saw something just swirling through the kitchen windows (it's have bars on it) so I freaked out, throws the plates in the sink, the SNAKE f*cking stares at me, SCREAM for Mom!! And she came, and somehow she predicted that I saw a snake.. Well, she was damn right.

The third one was creepy, one day I've decided to clean my room, then thought, oh well, I might as well clean the air-con, and there's also a perfume bag hanging right above it and I tot might as well change them.. Just right before I wanna wipe the top of the air-con (considering it was high and close up to the ceiling, I couldn't see what's on the air-con) but then I felt something, which I couldn't tell by just touching it.. Then I grab it so that I can have a look, and my oh my, it's a snake skins!!! Bloody hell, there's a snake that lives in my room and right on top of my bed!!! I didn't want to go back to my room to sleep for weeks..

Another one was, when I was 9 yrs old, there's this adult snake was sliding on my school windows.. I wasn't that scared cause there were other people there as well.. Lucky me..

Next one, it's was at my secondary school, Methodist College, I heard running and asking us to check out this, but I didn't know what are we checking out, so followed them blindly, and when I reach the scene, the caretaker were killing/hitting the small black baby cobra, and that thing was strong and didn't wanna die, it tries to fight back or something.. But finally it died.. I think he died..

Bad experiences with snakes...

Argh.. Having goose bumps talking bout snakes..

Nevertheless, I've tired to encounter my fears by going to the snake temple (I think I have one experience at the temple too, our school bus park right in front of the temple and before I step off the bus, I saw this snake hanging on the tree right in front of me, I try not to draw any attention and just quickly walked away.*triangle head, I think it's a viper* anyway, it's the same species they have in the temple but it certainly shocked me.. Argh.. I did try to hold them, touch them when I was in the temple cause they have people looked after and handled them but I still don't like them. Anyway, I've tried to learn more about them on internet, discovery or videos.. But still it scares the shit out of me.. Never ever wanna see them for real without cage..

That concludes my entry.

Deepavali dinner

As usual, every Saturday is our Mekong (Vietnamese restaurant) day with the usual us, which is Me, Honey, Noodles, and Edwinahh... And we order the same meal every time, even the waitress knows what is our usual orders. Lolz.. We usually go there for the beef noodles or the combination noodles and the rice paper rolls..

AND we try not to missed it cause they only opens for Lunch on Friday and Saturday from 11am till 2pm. ( if I'm not wrong)

Besides that, our another usual thing after lunch is that we does a walkabout in the city, even if we don't have anything to buy. But yesterday, Noodles have to grab some winter clothing for her friend.. I've followed her to some shops which I've never been.. It's was fun.. After getting everything that she needed, we thought we might go to Sportsgirl since we haven't been there for awhile, before we met up with the boys.. When I was in Sportsgirl, I found this really nice matte nude high heels which costs bout AUD140++ and I've been searching and wanting one. Noodles says it is a nice pair of heels but I hesitated and decided not to grab it. Maybe next time, when I have some extra money.. It's because I wanted to get some dresses from the ebay.. After the shopping, we met up with the boys and since the girls is craving for some ice creams, we decided to head up to Charles Street and get some gelato ice cream, my personal favourite is still the ferrero rocher, and chocolate flavours. But Honey decided to try the mango and strawberry sorbet which he didn't like it much and wanted to exchange with me.. Well, I did change with him, but my favs is still the ferrero and choco. Hahaha.. Lolz..

That's pretty much how my day went..

Later at night went to work.
It was really busy but luckily there's Noodles and Dan as well.. Everything went smoothly.. I think I should get in earlier for coffee trainings.. Hmmm.. learning how to make coffee.. I reckon it would be interesting and it isn't easy to pick up.. Since there's so many type of coffees..
So finish work pretty late, about 10.45pm, then went home to pick up Honey.

After that we headed to Shivani's house to celebrate Deepavali.

I had a wonderful dinner over at Shivani's house. I got to say this, she makes absolutely beautiful fish curry.. Yum... And we also had some chicken rice as well.. The dinner/supper was really awesome..
Later on we were chatting and stuff then Shivvie were talking bout love letters, and share it with us.
It was a really fun and funny session..

Trippin' Tulips Farm & Extras

Last Saturday, we went for a road trip to tulips farm. Just me, honey, and eddy.. (Nurul suppose to come with us but then she got to go to work) Oh well, hopefully we are going again on a road trip after they finishes their finals..

I'm glad that I have bout two weeks to go, which includes the submission week. Hopefully, I'll stop procrastinating.. Jees, I'm already on holiday mood, just wanna sit down whole day and do nothing except going to work and getting the extra cash that is needed to be save for me bracies.. Actually, the pay for my job, it's about AUD10 per hour, so theoretically, if I convert it to Ringgit it's like RM30 or less!!! Which is good, I guess.. Anyway, I promise not to spend that money.. Teehee...

So coming back to the road trip, I wasn't really excited or anything.. Maybe because I'm so laid back lately... Lolz.. But I still will show you guys some of the pictures taken during the trip thou.. Surprisingly, not many photos was taken if compared to Honey.. He took hundreds and hundreds of pictures just for the tulips.. But I guess, every one have different interest when it comes to photography... I actually thinks I like to take portraits of people or people in some actions and etc.. I feel much more comfortable... I get so upset cause I actually forgotten to bring my fish eye lens, I'm so ridiculous and forgetful.. I loves artsy fartsy photography, distorted photos are more interesting to look at.. That's my opinion.. Anyway, I had hard time taking nice scenery with the wide angled lens.. It's just me that I couldn't take nice photos and the fact Hon asked me to use the wide angle rather than my normal 54mm lenses.. But so far the pictures wasn't as bad as I thought they were.. You know whenever you look at the photos on the camera display and when you actually look at them on computer screens are so different.. Afterall, I still manage to post up some nice pictures.. OKAY!! I think I brag enough of me and let me show you the photos that I've taken..

The three yellow birds are not allowed to fly with their same flock of birds.
Then comes one brown bird which encounter the same situation. She is not allowed to fly with her same flock of birds too.. She sadly flew away and met this three yellow birds. They were different from her and vice-versa.
But in the end the three yellow birds and the brown ones fly together to another destination where they find happiness.
Even though they wasn't from the same species but the same event that happen to them bring them together.

Grandma's Obituary

I know it's part of life where people comes and people go.
Partly of me is devastated and sad and felt like bursting in tears and begging them to come back and don't leave me here. But I got to be strong.

The last time I remember losing someone, is a friend that got into an accident and died on the scene. Couldn't even bare to go to his funeral without bursting in tears. I don't like this feeling but I have no choice but to go through with it and move forward.

I think it's about time I cried myself out, as my weak heart can't take it anymore.. I'm homesick now, I need my family and my friends and being back home in Penang, Malaysia..

Prayers for my beloved grandma.

Rest in Peace Grandma

R.I.P Grandma

Yesterday (29/9/2009) at 6.18pm, I've received a text message by mom saying that Granny is in critical condition and unconscious and also have been hospitalized

Today (30/9/2009) at 3.32pm, I've received another text message by mom saying that Granny now is in coma and not much time have left.

At 7.33pm, mom called but unfortunately I was working so I missed her call. Then she send me a text and this one is bad, "Granny past away".

SAD...

Staying strong... I may not be close with my granny (dad's side) but I still loves her and may her spirit rest in peace. May the angels be by her side and guide her to heaven.

I'm sure Daddy is really upset though he never speak much. Hopefully he will go through this and stay strong...

Can't I speak for myself, Mom???

Guess what???

Mom called. And the conversation didn't last long! WHY??? you're about to find out why....

It started off that she was saying nice things, like asking me to look after myself and eat more vitamins and etc... Then I've inform her that I've decided to do my braces in Malaysia, and she said: "Ok but I'm not paying it cause if I pay, your brother and sister would want it too!" Okay mom, I get your point that's why I'm just informing you. You know it's fine if she don't want too pay, cause I've been saving some money to get my teeth aligned. You know it's not like some gadgets you buy and then it gets outdated and stuff.. I'm talking bout my teeth here, it lives as long as I am alive kay. Okay fine, I'm not gonna be such an ass and calculate every single thing.

Nevermind, next she went about and talk bout having our address on facebook. She said in Malaysia, there's a case where this person went to travel and posted in his/her facebook that she'll be away for awhile. Then when she got back from her holidays, his/her house was burgled.
(In other words, if you place your address information on facebook and tell the world that you will be away is a BAD IDEA) Get the point.. Simple..
BUT then she goes on and on and saying if I do so, people would rob our house and stuff.. I think the whole point is she was concerning whether did I do the same thing and worried that people might burgled her house in Malaysia.. Jees.. I'm not IQ challenge, so I understood everything you says perfectly. THEN I replied her: "Yeah..yeah.. I know.. I know.." Then she get all angry about it!! She said I have adapted the Aussie culture to talk back to her, actually it's not, I did it cause I just want her to know, okay, I got the point. And can we move on??? Argh she gets so angry that she say how she wasted her time raising me and my brother (apparently when she told my brother the same thing and my brother did what I did), but she does the same thing to grandma when granny nags her on whatever she does.. She shuts my granny off.. Okay I'm not trying to do the same thing you does to grandma, but sometimes you just get annoyed when you repeat this things..

So I was on the phone, and about to sing the song there she goes, there she goes again: scolding...scolding...scolding... on and on i think bout 3 minutes and I just kept quiet the whole time. Cause if I replied, she probably would use what I say against me. It's better for me to stay quiet. Then she said fine you don't want my advice and HUNG UP! Yeah hung up on me... Well, of course I'm angry but also sad as the things she said was really nasty and it's already upset enough to know your mother not gonna get you braces but it's fine I can do it myself.. Anyway, I got to be independent somedays and work for things I want. Yes I am working but it's just a part time job..

Mom, I appreciate it that you love me and concerns bout me but sometimes I need to speak for myself. I gets really frustrated when the things she says might not be true cause she always assume things, so I tried telling her. But in return definitely, get scolded.. Saying how disrespectful I am and I feel quite sad when she says that she help me out in so many things and this is how I treat her.. What did I actually did wrong here??? Speak for myself, obviously.

We must only listen and obey nothing else.

I know she's helpful and have always been there when I needed her, but why can't she understands that I have my own opinion as well, not like I raise my voice and talk to her or something.. I just can't believe this.. There's once, she thinks I messed up her cellphone (cause she and my bro uses the same cellphone) and she was suppose to reload (recharge) her perpaid with credits but back in Malaysia, sometimes the guy just text the amount and send it to your phone so if you have your phone by yourside then you can check whether it is transferred. But this time, she insist and kept telling the guy, no she did not receive it, so the guy just told her, whether did she left the phone at home.. NOW here's the drama, she called me, again, (I dunno why but it seems like I'm the only person who pick up her calls) then

She asked me angrily, "Did you switch my cellphone???"

I replied: No, why would I do so.. I did not touch your phone at all.

She angrily asked again, " You sure you did not switch it huh? You gonna get it when I come back!!!" Hung up

OKAY at this point I'm really like super uber scared but then I embrace it and the fact that I was innocent, of course I would deny it right..

Then I heard door slams! She gushes to my room and showed me that her phone was switch with my brother. I stay strong and denies it and told her that maybe Tammy (my younger sister) switch it or something cause I remember she was playing some games on the cellphone. Of course the advantage of being the youngest, parents don't believe and won't get angry at them as badly towards the elder ones.. So she said I try to blame on my sister, I'm like why can't she go ask her first before coming in here and screams like hell..

*cries* I denies it till the end and she doesn't believe me so she grab my hair, slammed my head to the cupboard next to me. I swear I was really shock and scared and couldn't say anything else.. And then she left my room..

Of course, I'm sad again, crying again, on my bed again... Tries to forget what mom just did......

After couple minutes, she came back in, and apologize.. Cause she went to ask my sister whether did she switch the phone, and yes was the answer. Now, she realises she hit and scold the wrong person.. If you were wondering what happen to my sister, well, nothing much happen, she just tell her not to do that again..

And NO I don't have hard feelings on my sister and mom, after all she's my sister and she's still my mother.

We were fated to be family so, I just live with it and forgive but never forget. Fuck how can I forget this.. I'm not a vengeful person but I keep this things in my mind so that if I ever have children, I don't treat them like this.. It's to remind me not to be like my mom..
